Poem: Woefully Human (Without Woe)

Poem: Woefully Human (Without Woe)

Woefully Human (Without Woe)

Woe is he who is not woe,
For all others shall bring
Their burden of disbelief and suspicion
To the sepulcher of his sorrow.

Woe is she who is not woe,
For her smile will alight
The angers of the sleeping
Sardonic armies of unknowing
Malcontents, encumbered
Like pincushions of daggers.
